It's one year...35 mil a year? His numbers better keep improvingNotice how all his numbers started to improve as soon as he got to Seattle. That’s called coaching.
Geno has been in Seattle for 3 years. It's one year...35 mil a year? His numbers better keep improving
I know, I posted his career stats...this past year was his one good year since he was draftedGeno has been in Seattle for 3 years.
I still don't understand how he won comeback player of the year. What did he come back from.I know, I posted his career stats...this past year was his one good year since he was drafted
That's my point...he was a career backup until this past season...now he's a 35 mil a year QB? That's what is wrong with pro sportsI still don't understand how he won comeback player of the year. What did he come back from.
Seattle has 2 first round picks this year… they must not love any QBs in this class.
I mean he led a team that was supposed to be the worst in the league to the playoffs, while leading the NFL in completion %. I don't really understand how players getting paid is what's wrong with sports. That's my point...he was a career backup until this past season...now he's a 35 mil a year QB? To be fair, 35m a year is like mid tier QB money now. That's my point...he was a career backup until this past season...now he's a 35 mil a year QB? That's what is wrong with pro sports
It's a gamble to pay that based off of one good season...but he is a veteran QB that's done enough to stick around this long...maybe he just needed another chance and last season wasn't a fluke. Time will tell.

Players getting paid after one good year is what's wrong with sports...and fans that don't see that...if he sucks next year does he give money back?I mean he led a team that was supposed to be the worst in the league to the playoffs, while leading the NFL in completion %. I honestly didn’t know he was still in the league.I still don't understand how he won comeback player of the year. What did he come back from.
Agree, he had to be somewhere first to come back.
And apparently Daniel Jones is worth 40 mil a year...it's crazyTo be fair, 35m a year is like mid tier QB money now.

The man turned down 50 million per year but here we go with the same old BS…
That's how it goes. Next man up for a contract always has to get close or more than the last guy. QB contracts are out of control because of a few stupid contracts lately. And apparently Daniel Jones is worth 40 mil a year...it's crazy
I wonder if a day will come when the rest of the players at other positions will start complaining because the QB’s are taking up such a large percentage of the cap, that teams can’t afford to pay them as much? There is less cap space this year than I’ve ever seen. Teams are shooting themselves in the foot offering these giant contracts. I think it’s finally catching up.That's how it goes. Jackson is a clown

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson turned down contract larger than Russell Wilson's in key areas
Kyler Murray's contract didn't help eitherYou can thank that dumb chit Jim Haslam for all of this BS.
Murray has done nothing to warrant 46 mil per year
