Pat Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers are great qbs cannot deny that however when you've got the talent at the receiver positions that helps a lot and also increases the chances of massive gains. I.e Tyreek Hill getting 200 yds himself for Mahomes in a single game. Take them away and add the receivers at say the jets it would probably paint a different picture. Win column would also have a few less in there.
Now the media is all saying Henry must get 2k yards to be mvp...... But why? Cause its only been done 7 times or something in the entirety of the nfl. Now look at our offensive line this year and outside of lewan you wouldn't really say any of them are a household name. You could also argue Henry has won us just as many games this year as anyone else, he should get over 1800 yds comfortably but if he gets 19 something why the hell should he not be Mvp. Plus with our shite defence letting teams do as they please so in some games he can't get going and he is still putting up fascinating numbers.

What bothers me for WR and QBs the yards aren't true...QB throws for 10 and the WR takes it the rest...and vice versa...inflated stats
All Henry's yards are earned...I know its not all about yards and stats but it certainly gets looked at, hence the he needs 2k to be considered...you're right @8Bruce8 ...why?

People don't realize it but the race is mahomes vs Henry. Aaron Rodger is old and no one is going to vote for him.
Henry will win MVP if he goes for 2k. People have to realize that 50 normies that probably havent even seen a full chiefs or titans game decide who is mvp and 1 Derrick Henry stiff arm is more visceral and exciting than a 70 yard qb pass.

Your exactly right he earns his yards. But why 2k that is ridiculous, I doubt Mahomes and Rodgers are gonna get 6k yards. So why are they setting this pedestal for Henry. He is having a stormer of a season with an average beat up oline.
He's the same age as Peyton Manning when he won his fifth MVP.
We've had a few games this year where henrys been taken off to catch an oppositions lead and he's still putting up these numbers and projections. Mahomes threw 3 ints last week has Henry fumbled 3 times in a game? He takes a beating every week and touch wood has made it through, he is leading in TDs for rbs, he also got paid this year and hasn't dropped in performance. The guy is playing MVP at running back but everyone is setting this pedestal where very few have reached but qbs have a good season they automatically get in the conversation.

Henry getting the MVP or 2000 yards is cool and there's a possibility he can achieve that but getting a SB win is what's on his mind.

Replacing mahomes/rodgers with an average qb leaves them dead in the water. Replacing Henry with an average back leaves the titans barely treading water.
