Before any of us pass judgement read the lawsuit. It appears the Plantiff has text messages and then messages from other NFL players after the incident. Who knows what they actually say, but if you know Tony Buzbee it’s doubtful he would take the case without there being some proof.
The NFL will fully investigate this as well.

It's called a "pile-on" and Buzbee is hoping DW will pay to make it go away whether the allegations are truthful or not.
Not really what Buzbee does. But yes.. A lawyer represents his client vigorously. This can’t just be dismissed as piling on. Dismissing it as impossible is exactly why woman don’t come forward. A they don’t think anyone will believe them. They would have to be lying, which would be a crime called perjury. Let’s hear what these women have to say. It’s not like this isn’t possible.
None of this is good for the Texans or Watson from the football standpoint and if it’s true he is a predator and should be punished.
OK. DW could be a misogynistic raper etc. But he's in a massage parlor. And NFL players are targets for this exact type of exploitation. "hush money" to keep a story out of the limelight whether it has merit or not, occurs all the time. Due process will work itself out and in the end we'll know if the claims have merit. But until then, I believe a person is innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately, a public figure can be damaged in the court of public opinion without merit to a claim. And honestly-that's what I think is going on here. There has been NOTHING in DW's past to suggest he is anything like what those allegations claim.

While the petition is more detailed than your average civil petition, everyone should keep in mind that it is still an allegation that will have to be proven by a preponderance of the evidence.

The Harris County court system has a huge backlog of cases right now due to Hurricane Harvey and the pandemic. About the only thing they are accomplishing at the moment is finally getting around to repairing the damage done to the Harris County Criminal Courthouse caused by Harvey and performing much needed renovations on it.
