how can you take "snakes on a plane" for what it is? SERIOUSLY the snake bit her boob! I honestly believe more people would have enjoyed the film if you had just taken that 2 second snippet out. On that note, however, more people would have enjoyed it had you turned that to a 2 minute snippet. To each his/her own 
I was adamantly against Snakes on a Plane until catching it on cable.. Its a dumb movie with a few laughs that doesn't take itself too seriously. There are plenty of equally bad or worse movies of late pretending not to be, ala Domino, Hitman, anything Fast and Furious etc..
