Hunt for the Wilderpeople is worth a watch. Charming and typical Kiwi humor. (that's good)

They're making a sequel. I don't know how, but they are. Seems like one of those flicks that caught lightning in a bottle and should just be happy with that.

Trick r Treat is so freaking good. I think I like it more each time I watch it. It's become an October staple in my house.
Not the movie but just saw the new Rogue One trailer. This one is going to be epic compared to the underwhelming Force Awakens.

Frankly, I thought TFA was solid and a good foundation to build the new Star Wars movies on.
No films of that franchise will ever be better than the originals. This is the beginning of a new, possibly, trilogy. So, the fair comparison would be to Episode 1... which it FAR SURPASSED.
TFA made me excited for Episode 8. TPM only made me hope Episode 2 would be better than 1.

There is talk of taking Episodes 1-3 out of Star Wars canon. Yes, they were that bad.

Only cannon removal I'm aware of is the expanded universe stuff. But some aspects are being integrated - General Thrawn, rightfully so.
I never read any of the expanded universe but everyone that I know who did would say the same about Thrawn.
It depends on who you ask. I'm not talking about major players, but people who think they can push this idea.
I'm all for it. Remember when Vader was scary and sounded like James Earl Jones? Good times.
