I was told this was a love story and not an action sci-fi movie. I was told wrong.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. Music was excellent as well. Very Tangerine Dream like.

I just wish the story would have matched the impressive atmosphere/effects.

Story was a bore though.

I HATED DoFP! That was the one where I finally decided that Xavier was the worst leader ever (Colossus confirms this again in Deadpool). Then the whole climax hinges on Nixon being the exact opposite of everything we knew him to be. I swore off the X-Men films after that. I granted Logan an exception because it obviously wasnt an X-Men film as we know them.
X-Men 1 was great. 2 was pretty good. Everything after was dog squeeze, and the runny kind.

I really liked DoFP and First Class. I was a X-Men fanatic when I was a kid though so I'm probably a little biased.

I read a novel with the hibernation ship passenger woke up to early as a major theme - Coyote by Allen Steel. They totally stole the idea from him. Totally.

yeah the 'story' was clearly tacked on. Breakup in space... but IMO it was secondary to the action part.

You haven't missed much since dofp - apocalypse was pretty meh.

Ricci caught my eye in Adam's Family... I could tell she was going to look good when she got older. She was a cute kid at that time, though. Like Natalie Portman in The Professional. Cute.

She really grabbed my interest in The Opposite of Sex... saw her in a totally different light.

Logan is better A lot better. However, Kong is not bad at all. Logan is just epic.

Seeing Christina made me realise I hadn't seen her in any movie since Sleepy Hollow (a guilty pleasure of mine) so I had a google and she looks completely different.
