Slumdog Millionaire and Gran Torino were, hands down, my favorite movies of 2008.
I'm probably going to see Angels & Demons within the next few days... does it correlate to The Da Vinci Code? I don't intend on reading the book, but should I see the movie before I watch Angels & Demons? Anyone know?

No, only the character Tom Hanks plays - Robert Langdon - is the only relation between the two books.
Apart from being authored by the same guy..
Maybe he's like Jack Ryan... same character but, essentially, stand-alone stories?

SHUTTLE: Very tense abduction thriller. Great late night setting helps make the scares pretty effective. The old saying don't accept rides from strangers rings true..

I watched Dane Cooks new Isolated Incident last night. it was alright. not what i expected. if you want to see it rent it first, don't buy it.

Seriously though, Dane Cook is AWFUL lately. I mean seriously awful, like I don't know what happened to him. Harmful If Swallow was decent to be sure, but some of the newer stuff is downright unwatchable at times.

I like his music and thought he was good in Alpha Dog.He comes accross very well in interviews.

I don't hate JT. I own FutureSex/LoveSounds. But Gloat has a penchant for acting holier than thou on everything. I was just ribbing him.
