Sure... but if we dont tag him then we have zero rights and cant trade him at allTagging him and trying to trade him decreases his trade value. A team isn’t going to want to give up a ton of picks AND sign him to a long term deal.
Interesting note. They also represent JRobSome of the other players CAA agency represents:

Titans quarterback, G.M. are now represented by the same agency
Really interesting that Tannehill has signed on with the same agency as Jon Robinson, Henry, Corey Davis, Taylor Lewan, A.J. Brown, and Harold Landry. Not just the agency though, he has the exact same AGENT as Jrob. So weird.

I mean yeah.... I think you missed the point of what I responding to lol poster said if we can’t trade him for more than a 1st then he won’t sign for as much as expected either.

That’s really odd haha seems like a major conflict of interest but maybe it’ll work in our favor.
GMs have agents?Interesting note. They also represent JRob

And as pointed out, this does seem like a conflict but maybe in a good way like JRob has the inside track to sign him.

Sounds like the Titans have their own agency.Really interesting that Tannehill has signed on with the same agency as Jon Robinson, Henry, Corey Davis, Taylor Lewan, A.J. Brown, and Harold Landry. Not just the agency though, he has the exact same AGENT as Jrob. So weird.
That seems weird that a person responsible for completing professional contracts chooses to give some of his money away to sign a personal one.

Always best to have someone else negotiate your own contract. Keeps it less personal.

It does if you are only kind of blind. If youre blind does the color jersey matter?

I have my brother who lives off a disability check negotiate for me. I make 1 dollar a hour more than my coworkers. He charges 10% as well so I give him a buck 50 of that but it is worth it.Always best to have someone else negotiate your own contract. Keeps it less personal.
