Both him and Eisen talk about Vrabel personality like that’s an irreplaceable thing without even mentioning the X’s and O’s.
you can be a great rah rah guy and have players follow you but if the scheme stinks and you hire assistant coaches with terrible game plans and all have lack of in-game adjustments, then who cares about motivation.
Hit em with facts. Vrabel inherited a good team, the culture shift started with Mularkey. Now idk what our culture is in the locker room, being hurt? What proof is there that Vrabel will make whatever team better? He inherited a playoff team in Tennessee and left them a bottom feeder?

This looks the same as any other coach to me? Maybe even more longevity than most? Almost 10 in Tennessee, 4 in Detroit, 4 in Philly.
Then finding a credible source shouldn’t be a problem. Good luck.

True or not, everyone has taken this and ran with it. Where there smoke, there fire. This article is looking prescient now.
I believe it he bailed on the team. Like I've said before it's not a coincidence these rumors started after he went to NE.https://nesn.com/2023/11/nfl-rumors-mike-vrabel-forcing-titans-exit-amid-patriots-speculation/amp/

Welcome to the forum Mike!
How do you know they didn’t try to trade him? It makes total sense to try and explore deals well before you fire Vrabel.
"Too complicated." "Too long." Excuses.
Instead of doing what was best for the team, taking the time to actually get a deal in place, they took the easy route.
Mike tomlin, 16 years .500 or better.
Vrabel, last 2 years 13-21, 2 sub .500 seasons.
I like how you only put the last 2 years of Vrabs record when he lost his starting QB both seasons and had an incompent GM railroad the team for 2 years.
6 seasons - 54/45 0.545 WP (0 Seasons w/ HF QB, 41/23 0.64 WP before JRob blew up the team)
16 seasons - 173/100 0.633 WP (13 seasons with HF QB)
agreed.. why he was fired tuesday instead of mondayHow do you know they didn’t try to trade him? It makes total sense to try and explore deals well before you fire Vrabel.
stroud had a couple of passes over the LBs vs Titans... cows O is dynamicSlowik? The current king of run/run/pass, despite having CJ Stroud at qb? No thank you.

Glad you like it.
those 2 seasons highlight achievements never achieved by Tomlin, your comparison.
but you’re right tomlin NEVER lost his starting QB for entire seasons.
The excuses for Vrabel get to be a stretch. Comparing him to a coach he’s never been and never will be is harder to disregard.
does tomlin use 80-90 players a year cause he encourages players to sit?
Looking forward to seeing how vrabel does on his next team (likely new England). Wanna see how it goes, for research purposes of course
No.does tomlin use 80-90 players a year cause he encourages players to sit?
he even forces his HoF player to keep playing after motorcycle accidents just to avoid ever saying that he lost his starting QB as an excuse.
Don’t worry, we’re titans fans. We keep tabs on EVERYONE.Looking forward to seeing how vrabel does on his next team (likely new England). Wanna see how it goes, for research purposes of course

That, too me, reads that the Titans thought that there was greater benefit to starting their HC search rather then taking the time to work through a trade that may not present itself.
Is this a mularkey situation all over again? Did vrabel refuse to fire his friends?
The url has the word “rumors” in it.https://nesn.com/2023/11/nfl-rumors-mike-vrabel-forcing-titans-exit-amid-patriots-speculation/amp/

A shame we couldn’t trade him instead.
No one is going to trade for a lame duck head coach they knew the team is planning to fire anyway
Slowik? The current king of run/run/pass, despite having CJ Stroud at qb? No thank you.
Comes from the Shanahan tree and Stroud flourished year 1. Texans finished 5th in pass yards this year FYI.
