or 45Well, we’re a passing team now. You don’t need FGs Past 50.
I know the pre draft rankings are a crap shoot, but some of the “mock specialists” don’t even have alt at the top LT. That means there’s at least argument that not every other LT is as low as 15-16 overall.Wasn't talking about Alt. If Alt is available at 7 you take him no matter what, conversation ends there.
Most mocks I’ve seen have Fashunu as a top 10 pick.
Titans fans. Am I right?
can’t live with em. That’s it.

I won't be upset if we take a tackle, I just prefer taking one of the WR's at 7 (unless it's alt). If we take a tackle that's fine.
hypen dude way better than Wheezy... based on catching a ball in an NFL gameI’d have to see the actual contract of guarenteed and what not, all I know is Ridley>burks/NWI. Will be nice to see actual talent at the WR position. Hopefully we grab nabers or Odunze if alt is gone
lol, just like you'd pass up on Chase to draft a position of need each time. I wouldn't wish that on my team either.
If we don't have one of that need on the roster..... and the ones we've tried to pull in free agency, we've failed miserably at...... you're damn right -
Too accurate. Lol.
Is Burks really unreplaceable?
For so many years we been cheap on FA and always rank at the bottom of the league in signings.
I don't know if this will work but I'm glad we have a gm who is aggressive and is going for it.

The funniest part of this is the Jaguars now owe Atlanta a 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd rounder because of the terms of the trade.

This is what I was about to type. Did we overpay? Possibly. One thing you can't say about Ran is that he isn't trying. Went out and got us a -huge- upgrade at center, a good CB piece, a much needed WR, a back to split with Spear. I think it's been a solid FA so far. Ready for the draft!
The money isn't going anywhere else, might as well load up at WRWhat? Why would you still trade and THEN still have to extend Higgins? We already have two WRs using up 16% of the cap. If you still want to add weapons, it has to be through the draft. Which I'm not opposed to doing.
Titans have their backup QB. Mason Rudolph for 1 year and $3.62 million. He's a serviceable vet who seemed improved last season and throws a respectable deep ball.
I'm afraid Alt will be gone by 7Wasn't talking about Alt. If Alt is available at 7 you take him no matter what, conversation ends there.
Also let's wait on the detail on Riley's contract I bet it's also a 2 year type of contract with a out in the last 2 years of it.

Thought the Falcons get a 3rd from them not 2nd.

I don't know about that. There will be a lot of quarterbacks and receivers flying off of the board before the Titans pick. McCarthy is a wild card of sorts.
This would be a dream scenario wouldn't it? https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/03/13/f...02d83a41b0002684&pid=1-chicago-bears-from-car

If I'm not mistaken one of the clauses was that if he wasn't rostered with them during the beginning of the new NFL year that they would owe the Falcons a 2nd rounder instead of a 3rd. I could be wrong though.
That would be ideal but I've seen Alt go anywhere from 4 to 7 so who knowsI don't know about that. There will be a lot of quarterbacks and receivers flying off of the board before the Titans pick. McCarthy is a wild card of sorts.
