Why are people in such a hurry to cut OL? Consistency is very important there and we will already have 1 new starter. Brewer played a small sample size last year to know if he is really starter material. No guards drafted? Then don’t cut a starter this late.
Who would play Guard if we cut Saffold, Couldn't we restructure him instead?Oh, by the way if we include a player like Evans in the deal that saves us his $2 mil base this year. They could save another $5 mil or so by cutting Saffold ($9.5 base - $4.7 dead money).
Evans involved definitely makes sense, reunite him with Pees
Matt Ryan has lost a litte zing on his deep ball but he wants to play with Cam Newton?? Lol...Julio, come on man!NBC Sports Boston's Michael Holley reports Julio Jones wants to play for the Patriots.
"You know who (Jones) really wants to play with? He wants to play with Cam Newton," Holley said in a TV appearance. Jones also reportedly thinks Falcons QB Matt Ryan has "lost a little zing on his deep ball." The Julio trade rumors have started to heat up with Atlanta needing cap room to sign their draft picks. The Patriots, who acquired Mohamed Sanu from the Falcons for a second-rounder in 2019 and have a history of trading for veteran receivers, are one of the teams that could fit his $15.3 million base salary. The Chargers, 49ers, Raiders, and Colts have also been linked as possible Julio landing spots.
Does Cam even have a deep ball to lose zing on?

I mean, why does he want to go from one QB on the back 9, to a QB who barely even scrapped by a new deal? (and it's a 1 year deal..)
This just sounds like the Donta Hightower situation again, manipulating the media, whom runs with every tiny sentence of rumor and inflates trading opportunities (granted, Hightower was Free Agency, but same principle)
And on another note, the patriots aren't getting out of that division. Miami and Buffalo run that now.
One franchise I could see selling the farm, would be Raiders --- Mayock needs to get out and make a desperate ploy to look good.
You spelled “record” wrong in your avatar.reliable depth piece... finish your sentence.
I hope that means something but I'm thinking lots of players workout together
now it says Julio wants the Pats.
titans aren’t even mentioned now in the rotoworld write up of all the possible teams.
Man if AJ is dinged up lol this core is laughably bad and thin. Trying to stay positive but ughhh nooooo one after AJ that’ scares anyone.
Who will be missing throws to Jones in NE?

Quesenberry is listed as Saffold's backup and Brewer can also play OG. If you have to cut Saffold to get Julio you do it in a nano second. By the way Nate Davis was ranked #15 in the NFL among OGs per PFF. Saffold #12. As in JRob picked this kid in the 3rd round who played with the Charlotte 49ers in college and he is now a top 15 NFL OG. Yet we still have pinheads saying he is a weak link in the OL. Ty Sambrailo might also be able to compete for that spot. He has had experience at LT, RT and some at OG.

Does Julio know that Brady is no longer there.
Saffold has made it clear that he is willing to restructure make any room needed. Not just for Julio. This cant be true.
1 - The Patriots just drafted a QB in the first round. Pretty likely he ends up the starter by the end of year 1.
2- Newton has thrown less than 10 TDs in the last 2-3 years.
Saffold has made it clear that he is willing to restructure make any room needed. Not just for Julio. JRob doesn't like restructuring.
Saffold is a pretty good cut candidate in 9-12 months time. Id say thats a pretty big reason we havent restructured him
Crowder is more affordable and will have at least as big of an impact on our offense at this point. Huge hole in this offense at slot WR. Especially since we dont have a playmaking TE either.Just a few more reasons Julio will not be a Titan:
1. He’s guaranteed $28.6M over the next two seasons.
2. Played in only 9 games last season and is now 32 years old.
3. AJ Brown is better and will be Tanny’s #1 target for a long time.
Even if the Titans got Julio for a mid-round draft pick, he would need to take a dramatic pay cut. If he were willing to do that, why would the Falcons want to trade him?
What little cap space remaining will be used after June cuts to boost a few areas of need.
My statement was completereliable depth piece... finish your sentence.
