Oh my yuuuuck. This is not helping. Those on target numbers say it all.I think it's fun to be excited here, but we gotta know what we are getting. This guy is a much bigger project than someone like Josh Allen - who was already a huge project himself.
Very likely he never amount to anything, but it's still fun to take a huge home run swing every now and then.
I’ve read several scouting reports that say he will struggle to learn the NFL game based on the overly simplistic system he had at Liberty. Fair or unfair, it’s out there.
Hopefully your boy Sam Howell gets drafted soon.
It's all in here:Extremely talented and gifted physically. HUGE arm. Very bright kid. Strong wonderlic. Struggle to learn? Based on what? Where did you read or hear that. Can’t find that reported anywhere.
Whether he gets there or not I don’t know but he is basically a modern faster bigger arm Steve McNair.
EDIT: Oops. I pasted the wrong vid. One min I gotta go find it
nothing says excitement like watching insurance salesmen playing footballI am now excited for the preseason games to see how he looks.

I’ve just read 20 of them and can’t find that anywhere.
But, he’s not a modern McNair. I watched McNair in college. I went on a recruiting visit to Samford and watched him dominate. I’ve watched Willis. My brother-in-law works for Hugh Freeze at Liberty. Willis has never looked like McNair.Extremely talented and gifted physically. HUGE arm. Very bright kid. Strong wonderlic. Struggle to learn? Based on what? Where did you read or hear that. Can’t find that reported anywhere.

:rimshot:I think we will probably see some packages put in for Willis similar to how the Raiders used Mariota. The pick has value. Even if he never starts.
Unless this dude comes in an absolutely blows the roof off the building with talent, he isn't taking over Tannehills spot for the next 2 years.
Would be great if he did...but some of y'all are acting like the Titans just drafted the next Tom Brady. Lol

It's all in here:
You are hearing what you want to hear. He didn’t say “ struggle to learn “ which implies ability to learn. It’s about developing, which he can. He has the raw skills. He isn’t ready to step in year 1. Neither was McNar or Mahomes for that matter.
I think its a great pick, and I think he adds immediate value..... Tennessee has always liked doing some trickery, and this allows them to have designed packages around his physical ability. We've had Henry passing TDs, lineman catching TDs, this just gives another "wow" factor out of the backfield with a shot at developing into the future QB.
It's not about his IQ, It's that liberty has simple reads in it's offense. As Liberty should, because they are playing against low level talent. The receivers should be open all the time. But that has nothing to do with his IQ or even his football IQ. He just has a lot more to learn.

Then he can learn. He has the tools you can’t teach.
I guess Josh Allen had horrible college stats and accuracy too. Why the heck did he get drafted so high?
Now let's get that QB coach that improved his accuracy. I don't think Pat O'hara is great.
Pat O’Hara & Tim Kelly were in Houston for Watson’s development. Shouldn’t be overlooked.
Any player that can go the distance just makes the game easier, IF he can balance that with the play action throws. We have trouble moving the ball at times and he's quick strike. This will replace what AJ was good at, chunk yards.
JR still hasn’t convinced me me know how to decently scout offensive talent.
Bro what? Lol Derrick Henry and AJB are 2 of the best at their positions
LOL you guys cracking me up with Titans running specialty packages... based on what exactly?I think its a great pick, and I think he adds immediate value..... Titans hardly ever do that... Sh1t Titans dont even run toss sweeps and yall predicting multiple plays a game with a gadget package... not gonna happen
what will happen is a late TC injury so they can hide him year 1 cause woodside is all that followed by becomming a BU in year 2 and year 3 he will be handed the keys ... no matter what
I don't want to hear anything either way. But I agree you're right that it seems like any such reports floating out there about him struggling to learn appear to be BS looking back at them now. There's no much substance to any of it.You are hearing what you want to hear.
LOLThen he can learn. He has the tools you can’t teach.
what does that mean?
