Called this in the prediction thread. Way to many overreactions last week. This is a good team and today was a hell of a win. If it wasn’t for like 4 big mistakes we win this game fairly comfortably. The team is still rusty but as they round into shape they are going very good. Pass defense is definitely better. Pass rush—it is worlds better than last year. And the offense is going to score a lot of points.
Go Titans!
Go Titans!
At the end of the day, we won.
We definitely improved on the defense and offensive side of the ball.
Maybe, just maybe Downing can get it right. I literally loved our offense in the 4th quarter.Downing definitely mixed it up in the 4th.

I think the plan was to jam DH22 thru for that yard... no matter how many tries.41 touches for henry is too much. Also not taking the 10 second runoff near the end is a baffling decision. Great W tho
got it on the first try though
He fucking had the corners press on blitzesAt the end of the day, we won.

use him while we can
get W's when we can
he probably won't last as long as Eddie but what did the last 5 years of Eddie really accomplish
Look at Frank Gore.. dude's been around for 9 decades, but what has that really done for the teams he's been on? Competitive but forgettable
Henry isn't forgettable

It was a good plan. They hardly stopped him for less than a yard all game.
I gotta go back and watch the highlights - was at a wedding and it started right before halftime. Crazy stuff!
Yeah for sure, but if he gets 41 touches/game he's not finishing the season. Availability is the greatest attributeuse him while we can

Hope you are right ; this is when the schedule starts to get softer and I uno how this win doesn't galvanize this squad. Hopefully this is the jumpstart they needed!
That was the 10th time Henry had 29+ touches (4 of those were 29 exactly) the very first with 40.Yeah for sure, but if he gets 41 touches/game he's not finishing the season. Availability is the greatest attribute
I don’t think this will become a norm, I think it was the key to success today.

Ok but how many times are we going to run 83 plays in a game? Lol that doesn’t happen often in the NFL. Usually it’s like 50-60 plays a game.

It’s a direct correlation to the number of plays we ran in this game. Last year Titans averaged 63 plays per game. 2019 it was 59. Today it was 83.

Pass rush is a difference of night and day from last year to this year. And Dupree likely isn't even back to 100% yet. Excited to see this unit progress as the season goes on. But we have got to get these mental lapses under control in the secondary.
Offensively, we started to gel as the game went on. The OL actually held up well all things considered. Hopefully Saffold isn't out long.

Coincidentally Henry’s career high in catches too. Only his 4th game with 3+ catches and his previous high was 4.It’s a direct correlation to the number of plays we ran in this game. Last year Titans averaged 63 plays per game. 2019 it was 59. Today it was 83.
I like to see him involved in the passing game. I see it get brought up often that when he’s in, it is much less likely a passing play which ultimately hurts his running ability.
Being able to play the highlights back at x0.25 normal speed on YouTube shows just how farcical the non-call on the safety was.
The only way that gets blown dead at the one is if we're now in a league where we're playing one hand touch on the Quarterback, which I appreciate is entirely plausible.
But as others have said had that ball landed in a receivers hand after his second pirouette in the end zone, you can bet your last dollar that would be ruled a completed pass.

Yes, I hope they get creative with Henry, get him involved in the screen pass more and wildcat (worked really well in the past).
Ref too chicken to end game in Seattle on a safety.Being able to play the highlights back at x0.25 normal speed on YouTube shows just how farcical the non-call on the safety was.

Henry is going to end up the greatest running back of all time. You can just feel it. This year will solidify the Hall of Fame. The rest is bbq sauce. Been around a long time and never seen anything like him. It feels like how Tom Brady was being underestimated as a GOAT after winning 3 super bowls, like how could people not see it then, it was obvious, and Henry is the same way.
