why is he a bad coach? because this trash ass roster jrob left behind isnt gonna win 10 games this year?

7-2 last season or some **** until tannehill got hurt and we were stuck with our project rookie qb.

now the roster is in tatters and fans want to restart completely?? and make the promising rookie QB change coaches already???

fans are so fickle. getting rid of him now would be an absolute disaster. the locker room would be lost and no one would want to come here other than those we heavily overpay.
Vrabel had his say in this roster as well

3-12 since JRob was fired

based on the AJ reaction, if he doesnt get his way he is going to let EVERYONE know it. How many times did Vrabel let EVERYONE know he didnt get his way? Once? Yep, every other acquisition showed Vrabel high fiving and smirking like the cat who got into the cream.
Deadass can't remember Vrabel smirking and high fiving unless it was for draft picks, which is what all coaches/GM's do during the draft?

I think you're trying to say Vrabel was in charge of all acquisitions other than trading AJ? Which idk how you draw that conclusion. We truly don't know how much input vrabel gets on the roster, and we have only had one year with Ran. So I don't think it's fair to put the current roster construction on Vrabel.

Who would be the choice to replace him? We have already proven through other trades that compensation is only half the story, using the compensation correctly, or having a back up plan that actually works is the key. If Vrabel were to be traded, the team must have a plan to get BETTER not stay the same or go backwards.
Liam Coen. Worked for the Rams under McVay for 4 years and was the OC for Kentucky in 2021 when Levis went off. When Coen left Kentucky in 2022 their offense plummeted. An offensive minded coach under the Shanahan tree who has brought the best out of Levis.

context matters and i'd say him being 7-3 prior to the most important position in sports going down means he was doing pretty ok
So he is ok as long as all the pieces are in place.....the honeymoon is over...he had a good run but he's in over his head

How many weapons does he need?

If he always has a built in excuse of not enough weapons, maybe it’s just him?

Love these THill arguments, I mean Vrabel arguments.

4th least amount pass attempts in the NFL. And this is depsite having to play from behind in almost every game.

The reason your stat is BS, but also proves the point THill is trash is that Mahomes makes 37 pass attempts per game, Will Levis 34 and THill 26. Notice a difference? It’s a limited offense under THill, Under Levis we throw almost as much as the Chiefs.

Did I say he was so good?

What has Vrabel done that is so convincing that he is a great coach? Winning 9.6 games per year in the worst division in football?

10 wins a season is pretty freaking good actually.

Belichick 10.3 per year
Reid. 10.1
Payton. 9.6

Keeping in mind that time 3 coach won most of those games with HOF QBs while Vrabel in his short career has had a second tier guy with a bad GM and bad drafts.

Also none of those coaches have been shit without a HOF QB.

Good HCs look real good with talent and real bad without it.

Andy Reid was pretty good with McNabb and Alex Smith.

Tannehill started vs the Bengals, Eagles, Jags, and Chargers in 2022 and lost all 4 of those games. That 7-3 start was the result of a ridiculously east schedule, and reality caught up to them. Besides, in 2023 it took an injury to force him to play the best QB option. Inexcusable.

Vrabel's shot was in 2021 but he blew it by hiring an OC so predicable that opposing players were calling out our plays before they happened. He's never gonna get a chance that good again.

Then why did we fire Fish Face who was at basically 9 (8.8) wins per season?

Also, Reid and Billy B have about a gazillion more seasons than Vrabel.

Only 2 games for Levis. 5 complete games for Tanne and he averaged 28 attempts/game over that 5. Even when we had a good offense in 2020, Tanne only averaged 30 attempts/game.
